Basically: While the action was cool at times, the story was so flat and cheesy that my mind was elsewhere. 


Story: A marine decides to retire, unfortunately, the day he hands in his retirement papers, aliens invade. He is called to duty. How inconvenient.


Actors: Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Ne-Yo, Bridget Moynahan


Win: Not much. Some cool action scenes, also I think there was one intense moment. I think.


Fail: Majority of the movie. Even the aliens weren't that cool. Every moment had some super cheesy action conversation. It was disgustingly cliché. There were sections of the movie, that if showed on there own, viewers would think they were watching a spoof of an action movie.


Verdict: Fail!
